Hello everyone. New from Iowa. I found a pretty good deal on a 13' SG so I bought it. Plan on taking her on long trips but it's fun on the short rides too. Never thought I would like a bagger but I really like the bike. Looking forward to sharing good technical stuff and maybe meeting some new riders.

Welcome in from KY. I was in the same boat when I bought my 14 SGS in the fall of 2013, now I'm on a CVO SG, its an evil cycle (pun intended)

I thought the same thing when I got my bagger...now I can't see myself on anything else. Enjoy the new ride and welcome to the Forum!!

Howdy neighbor!
I felt the same way.
I never wanted to sacrifice the handling of my Dyna for a bagger.
Finally bit the bullet to make the wife happy.
Just got back from the Black Hills rally and I couldn't believe how well it handled on narrow twistys like Needles and Iron Mine rd.
We had a blast out there...

Welcome to the forum. After riding a bike with a fairing I could never go back to not having one. I took a new road king for a ride and thought, nope, I need a fairing for sure.
