I'm new around here. Been riding street bikes a few years now and thinking of upgrading. I run a Suzuki intruder 1400 and want something better for long trips. Was looking at a few different bikes but after talking to the salesman I'm thinking I'll be going with a Street glide special. Now to figure out if I want to get one now or wait and get a 16' when they come out.

I'm guessing that if you're willing to miss the summer riding season and wait till September.....wait and see what they come up with, concensus is no big changes coming, but then again you never know. If there are no major changes then you can get a good deal on a 15.....otherwise the 16 may be the way to go.

On the other hand if you want to enjoy a new ride through the summer then pull the trigger now :D

Ditto ! Why wait, nothing worse than getting a new bike late in the year and watching it sit in the winter months.

+1 On that! Hindsight being 20/20, I am glad I waited. However, I did miss most of the riding season because I waited last year.

From Mojo's "For what its worth department".
I remember seeing the new Rushmore roll out in August 2013. I knew I should wait till winter sales slowed down and buy then for better discounting leverage but, I just had to have the Streetglide "right now".
No discounts, no freebies but it was worth it to me and even then I had to wait 3 weeks for my color!
This bike has been completely trouble free and without any issues . . . . I'm happy wit my decision.
