New guy from Ohio

Hello everyone. New guy here from Ohio. I have a 2010 Streetglide. It is basically stock with a few add-ons. Unfortunately, this weekend will probably be my last ride this year and I'll put it away for the winter tomorrow. I enjoy reading about the changes others make and often attempt some of the easier ones on my own as I like to do as much work on it myself as I can. Last winter I painted the inner fairing and upgraded the stereo system with a Hogtunes amp and speakers. Of course, a new amp came out right after I did but I am happy with the way it sounds. This winter I am thinking about getting some chrome wheels or possibly having the stock wheels chromed. I will probably change the tires because they have 13000 miles on them even though they look good still. If I can give anyone on here a hand, let me know.

Welcome to the forum from Northern Michigan! I rode yesterday for a while but the cool temps and fog limited me to 60 miles. Thanksgiving day looks good for a ride up here, hope its as good for you guys.

Hey Jack, what part of Ohio are you? i am in the Akron area, I had mine out for a bit last weekend, but it looks like it will be spring before the days are warm enough now.

I live in a small town north of Painesville, Fairport Harbor. Your bike looks great. I like to work on my mine but I am pretty new at. I have some mechanical knowledge learned many years ago but I still like to try.

, I think that is about half the fun, Fairport Harbor is right on Lake Erie, do you get much lake effect snow up there? I am south of the snowbelt here so it is not too bad.
