Hello everyone, I have had a couple softails over past years and for the wife and my anniversary decided to go get a streetgide. Bought a 2015 vivid black 3 months back and was searching all over web for anything regarding others and their bikes especially exhaust and such. This site intrigued me enough to hop on board.

Welcome from Greensboro, NC. I had a '10 FLSTC and traded it for an '14 FLHXS also and not looking back. :) Enjoy it!

I had a 91 FLSTC and then a 2002 Springer that I liked but it was helpful in getting rid of past memories and bills to move it on. The wife digs the SG and I order a de-catted head pipe and a fl-vied -10 for it because I don't have anymore racing in me but want it cooler on a budget. I am looking at V&H slash cuts slip ons for sound and all should be a decent match.

Welcome aboard from lake Havasu City, AZ.....home of the London Bridge!!

I came over to a 2014 SGS last year after a 2003 RK Classic that I bought new and a Dyna Wideglide before that......I love, love, love the SGS, it is such a great bike to get on a hit the road!!!

Welcome Fallguy- Sound like your on the right track with future mods. All three items you mention will help a lot~!

Welcome to the fun just check out past threads and if you can't find it just ask.

Welcome from IL.

I think you will find a plethora of information here as well as some really friendly folks. I know I did.

Just got home from work and glad that I haven't done anything more than gather parts so far because had a crowd over last night and the ignition and power were on all night and killed battery and tender isn't helping so warranty is gonna fix it as soon as they pick it up. Gotta keep an eye on things more and cant say I was pickled cuz I quit the crazy juice almost 15 years ago. Thanks for the hello's and will definitely look to everyone for educated experiences with any future SG thoughts or plans.

Absolutely tickled with the dealer..Didnt get all the stupid comments I expected about leaving ignition on and they looked the whole charging system over after making battery back to 100% and even gave the bike a good cleaning. Amazing how nice it is to have a place actually do something right for a change !
