Hey fellow StreetGliders
Great site. Found it cuz I'm a "geezer" & I have no idea what I'm doing when on a computer...Total accident.
Got my '15 Charcoal Pearl FLHXS this past June...My third H-D....I'm back after "Turning Japanese" a year ago w/ a Sport Tourer Yammie FJR 1300 (Still a bagger!.... sorta'). Been pretty much too HOT to ride down here until recently. Now it's pouring rain (part of the annual Cold Fronts comin' down from "Da Naath"). Seems like a terrific community here.
Later, Rusty

Thank you for the "warm" welcome from cold Kentucky.
I'm still trying to figure out this "forum stuff".
Nice Street Glide. If you don't mind a low life new guy asking...How does one go about adding the stuff on the bottom of some of the posts where it gives a description of your bike?
I'm about as high tech as a 1954 Harley (my Dads last bike) & for the life of me just can't figure out how to do some of this stuff.
Maybe it's my "rank"?? Only been here two days.

Thanks in advance & stay safe.

Welcome from SoCal...where it never rains.

Welcome from northern California where it rains very little now a days I would gladly take some of it from you. Hope you enjoy the forum there is a lot of good info here and ton of great people.

Thank you for the info.
Still raining here. 4.9 inches since yesterday. Cannot ride. Cannot even mow my property. I'd gladly jump on the John Deere just to have some wind in my face.... but it won't stop raining and the back part of our property is a like a swamp now.... and the forecast is nothin' but Thunder Storms & heavy rain thru next Monday.
SoCal is great. STAY SAFE.

Thanks for the welcome. Believe me, ...If we had a way of sending you guys some of this rain, you'd get it. Got CABIN FEVER BIG TIME! We know how dry it is out there. We go to Laguna Seca every year for MOTOGP. We usually spend a few weeks out there. Do a lot of riding on rental bikes. There's DRY ...and then there's Northern CA. DRY!
Stay Safe... and Stay Hydrated:cool:

Thanks for the welcome, Jose. Great lookin' bike. Reminds if the "Bad Boy" Vettes that race American LeMans series. Great Color combo.

I was Regular Army '67 to '71. Born & raised in Miami. Retired Metro-Dade (now called Miami-Dade) P. O. I consider Dirk Peterson (Petersons H-D North Store) one of my good friends. My family has been buying Harleys from Petersons in Miami since the 1950's.
Thank you so very much for your service.
Stay Safe,
Rusty
