So yesterday I was out running some errands. Got behind a truck on a four lane road and was going slow. A female cager pulls up beside me and tells me my "brake light" is out. She told me a second time after I had said thank you. The second time she also mentioned my signals were working and something else I could not make out. I said a second time thank you. I knew the brake lights were working the day before at night.

Got to thinking on the way to my next stop that she probably did not understand the turn signal lights are the brake lights. I got stopped and all is fine. She probably thought the light at the bottom of the fender is the brake light. Dunno.

I know that I had a few people I have been on rides with saying my stock lights on my 15 SG did not show up well while braking. I put in a set of LED's and the difference is much brighter stop/turn lights. Under all lighting conditions. Should be stock item on new bike.

I have LED's in there but I think the sun was on my back and maybe they weren't bright enough.

Nah, unless I am asleep, I am pretty sure I would notice that. :) Not sure how to ride while asleep. LOL

A few years ago someone pulled up and said I had a turn signal out. I had led bulbs in my 06 Suzuki Boulevard which caused it to Hyper flash (I actually liked that it flashed faster) so I just assume that's what he saw and thought something really was out. I checked it that night and everything was WAI
