Many of us are tucking our bikes away for the off season. Will not say the W or S words.
Wondering what mods folks have planned for the off season months ahead. In a separate post Bryan has listed some upcoming improvements to his bike. What say the rest of you?

For my part I will probably be keeping it low profile. Maybe keep an eye open for an eBay deal but I have the bike pretty much where I want it. Might experiment with my own baffle design for my CVO muffs. I like them as is but of course I'm still searching for the just right rumble while trying to keep it quiet for my old ears.

Shocks for me this year, i should have made that my first mod but taller bars and loud exhaust made it first.

Because I'm not looking for big performance, and to keep costs down, I want to try using a Briggs Stratton engine off our old lawn mower.
I am really in the research phase right now. I haven't started procuring any necessary parts or materials yet.

I have seen several iterations of home built mini choppers and I think a nice little scooter can be inexpensively built with resources at hand. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress!

Once that time gets here, I think lighting mods (LED headlight and turn signals) are about it.
As for the mini-chopper, don't forget about the old Honda Trail 50's and 70's, creative motor mounts, but a 5 speed transmission. A friend of mine put a 110 engine on a Mini-Trail frame for his pit bike, little thing goes to fast for the super quick steering, lots of people fall with it.

10" twin peaks, ohlins shocks (to replace the progressive 444s I currently have) , led headlight, and stage 1. That should be enough for the next 6 months.

For me it's going to be some audio additions to the bags or bag lids and maybe chrome the wheels or either new ones. This has to be done between our warm streaks tho so I can keep riding when it gets to the 60's and such during the winter. Oops did I type that! Sorry!! Haha

I'm looking for performance upgrades as first mods to my ride.
Thinking about the Screaming Eagle 110CI Stage V Tire Shredder Kit
And Dirty Bird Up Yours exhaust but I'm doing the research first.

Next would be upgrading the stereo with an amp and some bag lid speakers.
