Oil Level Temp Dipstick

I have one that's not been wet yet, so no problem so far. I suppose I could put the original dip stick in when I wash the bike.

Mojo,

I have been in contact with my dealer parts guy, he contacted Harley & Harley gave him some lame excuse like there was a lot of moisture in the air or something. I'm not done with them yet. Yes it still is under warranty.
I do like the Dipstick & you can read it, I just wish that it didn't have moisture in the window. I had one of the old type on my 88 FX Softail and it did the same thing.

Still, they should allow a refund. What good is "the window" if its full of moisture?

These things are pretty much worthless. My father went though about 4 of them on an old bike ago no avail. And numberous others I know of and have read about. Another item for the junk drawer. The older analog ones worked great for me. Don't know if they make one for the new streetglide a tho. I would get one if they did.

I've got one that works perfectly. I like checking the oil level and temperature with a button push when I stop for gas, etc.
