So, I'm a short guy. I have a seat that I like in terms of comfort. It is off of an Ultra Low.

What I do not like is the look and I really want a back rest. Perfection would be a solo with a backrest. I have been looking at the Mustang Vintage Solo Low.

So here is my dilemma. I am taking a risk on a new seat that may or may not fit me. On the other hand, I saw the Kuryakyn Multi-Purpose Driver and Passenger Backrest. This would work as a back rest for me or a passenger and it has a mini luggage rack.

I am open to any and all opinions.

Thanks.

Send it to Mean City Cycles to have it shaved and lowered with memory foam installed. That's what I did and I'm 5'7".

I too am a short person (5'4") and encountered a similar issue when I first purchased my Street Glide. I wanted something that was comfy but also looked good with the lines of the bike. After a long search, I ultimately ended up getting a Corbin seat. While it did take roughly 500-700 miles to get properly broken in, now that it has formed to my "backside" I absolutely love it. In addition, I decided to "splurge" a bit on my purchase so I went with the removable backrests as well as the heated version. Let me just say, next to a new set of shocks / fork springs, the Corbin seat is the best investment I've put into the bike.

All that being said, take your time, do your homework and don't be afraid to spend a little extra $$ to ensure the best comfort possible as you'll only want to make the one purchase count.

Hope this helps!!
