Has anyone had their heads and cylinders powder coated to match the factory black textured finish? I am working on a new project and would like to know what is the best method for coating them? I know HD sells a textured black paint for engines, but I don't know how durable this stuff is. If I knew the name of the company that coats them for the MoCo. I would reach out to them for help. Any suggestions? Thanks

I suggest finding a powder coating company near you - They will make sure the paint is sealed on and won't flake off and cause any rusting. We send all our matte black products to a company here in Washington for powder coating, and we have not heard of any issues with our powder-coated racks yet (been around since 1994!)
