Has anyone notice a roughness when the rear cylinder cuts out at a stop. I just had my 1000 mile service and the weather in Tucson is heating up. I noticed a more pronounced shaking at idle than before and chalked it up to the rear cylinder fuel and spark deactivation. Is this normal. It's the first time I felt it.

I haven't experienced it yet... but will be on the watch for it as temps are climbing here as well...

Thanks to Mojo for the write and Hulkss for the link....

So... it is very obvious when it kicks in?

Spazz- it annoyed me so much I disabled mine, it doesn't run hot anyway with the ceramic head pipes and dyno tune.

Mine is enabled but it has never kicked on. I was reading somewhere that once at a stop you can roll the throttle forward to FORCE it into this cool down mode but mine wont do it. Any one have luck with it?

Yes it's true. I have done it just to make sure everything worked with it. I may have the sequence wrong because it's been a while since I did it, but I believe the bike has to be in neutral, roll the throttle forward (there's about a quarter to half inch of movement) and hold it till the light pops up on your dash, then release the throttle. It kicks off when you roll back on the throttle.

Yes...it seems to run worse after you throttle forward....i actually stalled..and the bike ran like **** after that...the green light turned red on the dash...im bringing it in to get looked at...that feature is to cool down to 1 cylinder...why would it stall?..it doesnt make sense to me.

Try hitting the info button and having it in neutral and u can see it activate on the screen

Same same I disabled it when it first kicked in BUT I might enable soon as it's getting freaking HOT fast here in south Louisiana , grrrrrrr almost too hot to ride

Mine was disabled when I bought it. I activated it and am about to deactivate it because I stall the bike every time it activates at a stop light.
