Rear fender protection?

I love the look of a Solo seat and run the bike this way most of the time
When wife comes along or we go RVing the two up goes back on
I am looking for a practical way of protecting the rear fenders clear coat WHILE the two up is on the bike
I'm not interested in solo protection (ie.bib),I'm talking about the crazing and clouding of the clear coat that happens when the two up is in contact with the rear fender
Stock seat is the worst and I'm looking at Grey's and LePara's but when I switch back to my solo I don't want to keep buffing it out for obvious reasons.
I can't be the only guy with this issue, but after asking dozens of shops and bikers.....well let's just say I get a lot of strange looks
Thanks

Understanding your dilemma as I am considering a solo seat. Putting soft felt pads or similar soft material at the seat-fender contact points Is an idea. I do feel that road grit, dust, and dirt are our worst enemies in that they will succeed in leaching between even the softest of materials and the fender. Harley has for sale clear self adhesive paint protector panels that I might considering trying. I have been looking for a Saran Wrap type of material but with increased thickness thinking maybe that would work and could be installed and removed easily. I'm also anxious to hear suggestions.

Well, I looked up the web site and
back to the dilemma at hand.
They don't have a rear fender kit category.
It's like there's no happy middle
Either you strap on a two up and the rear fender is trashed but who cares
Or, you run a solo from the day you buy the bike and are good to go
Or it's a show bike and never gets ridden
I have owned lots of bikes and the wife never rode much so the solo was on 99% of the time
Times have changed,SHE rides now and I gotta come up with something or always keep a two up on, but it's a customized bike and I want it to look Solo when I'm Solo.
Maybe I get sheets of 3M film and cut for contact area, and replace each time I mount seat
Yes it sounds anal, but this bike serves me in many ways
It's a ride (for me)
It's a project and show off cause I like to have something nice
It's a practical means of transportation for RV trips and site seeing.
I agree that soft cloth or felt is still going to trap grime so the film, maybe in layers will be cheap and easy and do the trick
I just thought there might be something out their in the market for this spacific problem

Here are three additional ideas:

1) Get the paint protector film mentioned above and cut it to cover the areas in contact. You will have to remove it each time but......

2) Self adhereing Velcro comes in rolls and sheets and is available at hardware stores. I actually use the soft fuzzy half and stick it to my fender where the seat contacts. Peels off easy and is cheap.

3) I have had the same Bar & Sheild HD applicay in the rear window of my vehicles for 20 years and move it when I upgrade vehicles. It adheres to the glass but is removable much the same as the clear film that is used to protect the surfaces and screens of a new product such as electronics. If you could score a relatively thick piece it would be removable and reusable.

If you haven't found anything yet Jeff @ NUPRO just designed a precut film for the rear fender. I ordered one and will let you know how it works. Go to Youtube and search "NUPRO fender" and it will give you a four minute video. You'll at least be able to see the approximate size.

Thanks I'll look into it
I ended up getting a Danny Grey
Two piece butt crack seat
The passenger pillion has suction cups and bolts Dow
It works well but it wouldn't hurt to have added protection

My thoughts exactly. I have the C & C with passenger pillion that uses suction cups as well.
