Rear shock setting

Hi everybody! So, I've got a '16 Street Glide Special. The only thing I've done as far as suspension is lower the rear 1". I'm trying to get the shocks set properly,but the owners manual doesn't mention lowering the rear. If I go by the manual, I should dial all the way out then back in 2 clicks...but it still seems to bottom out? Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Depends on your weight. Each "Click" equals 1/2 turn. I weight 180 and have mine set at 8 on the dial. Check your manual as a reference.
