Reverse Kit for SG Special

Has anyone installed reverse kit on their bike ? I was looking at one and found this

Damn $1400, I think I'll keep using my boots to back up. Gotta think how much do you really back up, for me not much as I try to park so that I do have to.

I'm with Bryan. I would rather have the Rekluse clutch for $800 and not have to worry about getting carpal tunnel in Sturgis!

$1400 is a bit much but sure nice to have it when I have my bike fully loaded with tour pak and wife on the back. I have seen Goldwings backing up with reverse gear and what a sight to watch....so nice!!!! I also like to know more about this if anyone has it on their HD...????

I did lil bit of research and found few out there. Champion kit, Baker's kit, motor trike and Mamba by AIM corp. Of these Mamba and bakers are close to 2k. Few folks who had champions kit have reported to loosing 4th and 5th gear after installation. SO I've decided against champion. Motor trike is close to $1400 and I'll talk to them if it will go along with Rekluse clutch. I may not get the automatic rekcluse, just their basic one that retains manual clutch but is much easier to pull.

Things I want to do to my bike to make it comfortable are: Installing 2+ inch pullback handlebars, Upgraded suspension (thinking about legends suspension), Rekluse clutch and reverse kit. I like the bike stock and don't intend to go for any performance mods. This is just me but I like how quiet the bike is at Hwy speed.
