Tried to search forum for answer. Sorry if this has been a previous topic. I currently have the iPhone 5c. It fits in compartment on '14 special. Thinking of changing phones. Does the iPhone 6S and the Samsung Galaxy 6S fit also? I removed the foam protector in the compartment already. Thank you for any help.

I have the big IPhone 6 plus and it won't fit in there. If you want it out where you can see it you will have to get a mount like the one Iron Aces sells or one of the handlebar mounts. I'm going with the Iron Aces one soon.

Thanks for the shoutout TomA, we certainly appreciate it. Let us know when you are ready to move forward with your Iron Aces Mount!!

Lindsey :0)

Not to undermine one of the sponsors of StreetGlide.com, sorry Iron Aces, but check out RAM Mounts, they carry some nice mounts for the iPhone 6 that are large enough for the other larger units. I have one for my iPhone 5 that work really well....

I gotta give a shout out to Iron aces and Lindsey for their billet mount... Although I have it mounted on my RGS, the mod I did will work for you as it did for me for my Galaxy Note 4...

I bought an iBolt 17mm ball mount with AMPS mounting to use with my MotoXtek Gripper

It works for my Power Vision and my Note 4 and anything else you want to put there. I use it for my Note 4 when I shoot video from my scoot with the GoPro... great for remote operation of the GoPro

Thank You for the replies Spazz that looks good very nice mount. Crumb thats great to know. I like the idea of it being enclosed due to riding in the rain.

Same MotoXtek Gripper here and love it!

I just installed the Iron Aces unit with my 6Plus. I also used the Pro-Clip holder available from ProClip USA as it allows me to have the wiring installed in the cradle all the time and then I can just slide the phone in and out.

I had the fairing apart to do some other work so I ran the Lightning cable out the back of the compartment and used a rubber grommet to seal it up

then threaded the cable up through the air duct to the mount which is in the middle front and center.....here's a few pics of the finished product with and without the 3 pocket storage pouch (now 2 pocket) back in place with the windshield:cool:

Now I have access to a real GPS while on a trip that I can program the night before from the privacy of my own room.....THAT WORKS and I also have all my music as well as Pandora available to me as well and all front and center......only thing I gotta do now is remount it just a little more centered (and get a black cable) now that I have the mount and everything else installed!!;)
