Not crazy about the look of the stock exhaust however I kinda like the relative quiet sound but would like something that looks better and might increase the rumble just a bit. I,m not interested in the Rineharts or similar because I think they're too loud for my taste when you hit the throttle, not to mention the cost
Does anyone have any experience with the Scremin Eagle Thunder slip ons? One of the reviews on the HD site clicked with me when the guy said they looked good and were not overly loud.
Basically, I,m not looking for a performance boost. I just want something different than stock with a little more sound.
The Scremin Eagles were considerably less expensive as well to most of the other aftermarket exhausts

Any thoughts?

If any help, I installed "Street Cannons" a few hundred miles ago. My first impression on start up...not bad at all. Not high a pitched loud that hurts the ears, but definitely much more aggressive than the stock sound on throttle and they mellow out when cruising. I did notice that the type of end cap matters. I have the Blunt Revolver which probably because of their length add more echo. I want get the Slash up/down's to mellow it out.
Just as a note...I ride with a friend that has the same bike and year as mine but with Vance and Hines power duals and monster rounds, who told me for just slip ons, they sound good.

No doubt The Vance and Hines are terrific but much more expensive as well

I just installed the SE Street Cannons with Slash Tips on my SGS 2 days ago. I wanted it to be louder than stock but not so loud that it drowned out my radio at cruising speed. I've only put 40 miles on them but It has a good sound while you are twisting the throttle getting up to speed then mellows right out once you are cruising.

Shout out to KWS64 for selling me the slip-ons. There are still a few good people in the world :). He shipped them to me with no money exchanged with the agreement that if I like them I would send him the money or if I didn't I would ship them back. As you can see from my post I LIKED THEM!!
