Spotify use on Street Glide Special

How can Spotify be used via the SGS Boom Box? Is there a way to get the same functionality as iTunes?

I have an iPhone 7plus. When I connect to the radio. I can select any song in any of my playlists. I don’t thing you can perform searches from the bike.
