Yeaaa. Good ridin' weather soon. In the meantime we are dealing with rain and knats. The knats aren't thick this time of year, but the few that are out, are the size of marbles. And them dang yella bugs, full of yella puddin'. Their main impact area is always on my forehead or glasses. Those folks above the frost line probably don't have the bugs we have here in rural Georgia. Mojo, enjoy the Tennessee riding in spring....bet it is beautiful.
I always think of Reno as being more south than what it is. Watching the temps you post throughout the winter and I gotta keep reminding myself how much further north Reno actually is.

Yeah... most don't realize we are 500 miles NORTH OF Vegas..... even a bit north of Sacramento CA... just east about 120 miles

I got in 102 miles yesterday afternoon. The weatherman promised 65 degrees at midday with very heavy cloud cover, and 75 degrees and clear by 5pm. He hit it spot on. It is supposed to be beautiful all day today, but we are going fishing and having a fish fry with the family, so no riding today. The rain comes back in tonight.
Supposed to be 67-70 today... Joker and I are heading down to Reno HD at 0900 for his new head unit... meeting up with YET ANOTHER SGF member that sent me a msg at around 10am... LOL!!!!
Gonna get a little ride in... maybe a Virginia City run and south to Carson then back up into Reno.... just a short run- 1-2 hours....

We had a beautiful day yesterday, catching 12 bass and 10 brim. We ate well and enjoyed the day. Now it is raining and expected to do so for about 10 days.....UGH!
It was 45 at 10am yesterday, much colder than I like to ride in, but it was going to get in the 60's by noon. So we headed out to a fundraising ride for the children's burn center camp, 265 riders and they said it raised $6500 total. I ended up getting in about 180 mi. Total yesterday and it really turned out to be a nice day, glad I went.
