I have had my bike stored at my Mom's house since Jan 1st. Went and picked her up, got the 5k done and took her back to my apartment and left the truck at my Mom's house for a few days. Riding to work most of the week. So what if it is still winter.

Had some laundry to do. Put a bunch of clothes into trash bags and filled up both saddlebags! Had one load of laundry. People at the laundromat looked at me stupid, but WHO CARES! I even took her to the car wash real quick while the laundry was drying.

I admit the coat and heated gear were a bit of a pain but it worked out good.

Always have been able to get a good amount of groceries into the saddlebags but have never tried laundry. Who knew?? LOL

Any one else use their Glide to replace their cage? I can't completely replace my truck, but during the riding season my trucks only gets driven every few weeks.

I agree. I use my SG as much as I can. I have a 2004 car and it still has less than 100K miles. Living in Hawaii allows me to ride all year round. I am seriously thinking about getting a razor/tour pak (quick disconnect) for extra carrying capacity, especially for food take out.

My '03 pickup has 94k on it. Not bad at all.

I put a King Tour Pac on my former '04 Road King Classic. That thing gave me so much carrying capacity, I actually did not use the saddlebags much at all unless I had a lot of stuff to carry. The King Tour Pac is really roomy.

Haha my 06 f150 has 53,000 because of the bikes. Gotta love it.
