I'm having a really hard time figuring out what Fuel Management System to get. Trying to find a system that tunes itself so I don’t have to mess with it when I add different parts. Also, if I put it on with any aftermarket parts will it help my engine run cooler? Thanks for the input.

Autotune is a bit of a myth....that being said I think Power Vision is pretty user friendly and you can continue tuning as you modify.

The Power Vision is a great system that allows you to do many things. There is also an autotune module that you can purchase for it should you wish to have an autotune system.

Do you need the Power Commander V to run Power Vision?

If your bike is tuned correctly in closed loop your ECM will learn as you ride by reading the 02 in your exhaust stream. After every ride when you turn off your switch and turn it back on, it sends input to your ECM. At least that's how I understand it. My ride seams to be a slow learner. I keep several maps in a thumb drive and carry them with me on a long ride.
Cheers!

I have used TTS, SE tuners, Power Commander and Power Vision. I was one of the original Beta testers for the Power Vision and really like it. As Firecat mentioned, your ECM will learn as you ride by reading the O2 sensors but you still are stuck with the 14.7 AFR mandated by the EPA and the other settings decided upon by Harley to meet the EPA mandated guidelines for emissions. 14.7 AFR is good for emissions but not always best for power and it generates more heat. A tuner will let you adjust those setting or load a base map developed by others to the ECM to generate more power, less heat and in some cases better mpg.

I really like the Power Vision. You can do as much or as little with it as you like.

any one know what afr to use and what part of maps should be adjusted to run cooler

You are asking a very complicated question. Here's some pictures that illustrate the variables involved. Keep in mind achieving good drivability and throttle response (transient performance) is different from steady-state performance (cruising at different speeds and loads).

I just installed a Thunder Max Auto Tuner. Cannot be happier, bike runs cooler, faster, and with a bit more attitude.
