this **** pisses me off. The chinese steal both intellectual products and actual products and bootleg the hell out of them. And everyone wonders why you see chinese parts on the H-D P&A shelf. Everyone buying chinese LED headlights, Bootleg Go-Pros and all the other Harley parts bootlegged should not wonder why H-D parts and accessories are so much money. Harley-Davidson has a R&D department, that develops new parts, then a legal department that vets the parts. They produce a part, that fits on their bikes like it's supposed to, with clear concise directions and sturdy packaging. They also produce a 350 page full color catalog that is given away FREE at it's network of dealers across the globe. Someone goes and buys a Harley designed product and 3D scans it, bootlegs it for pennies on the dollar and sells it on EBay and Amazon for a fraction of the cost of the original part, in a plain cheap package and sometimes with NO instructions. Go figure. You support intellectual property theft by buying that stuff. No wonder prices for HD stuff and GoPros are high....do you think that their products reflect the cost of doing business with outright theft of their products? Anyway, rant over. I'd rather pay the money for the legit stuff and support the originators not the bootleggers.
