This may sound dumb, but how do you install the lock on the tour pak?

There are screw access holes through the bottom of the latch to access the 2 screws that hold the lock in when the latch is in the open position.
I'll look for a pic or sheet on it.

I see the holes, but was it supposed to come with screws?

No the screws are not included with it. I believe I just used 2 8-32 pan head screws, I didn't buy the harley screws.

Crap. Thanks. I would have bought them if I knew they weren't included! Guess I won't now.

See if this img works.
I remember they need to be 3/8" or a little less in length..

You know this kills me.17hundred bucks for a tour pack and they cant provide two screws Happened to me too

Same here, screwed again. I knew it going in so I ordered the H-D screws with the tour-pak.

Regarding the locks, I bought two chrome locks from Harley and they only installed one ( not sure why they did just one) now I have a black plastic one and one chrome. Sad that we have to worry about bike savy theifs !!! Guess I'm gonna lock saddle bags and seat with star Allen bolt! Would love to catch that guy with my tour PAK in his hands as I walk up to bike....Doa

Pearson, I think the OP is actually talking about the barrel lock on the lid.

But on the subject of accessory locks, I bought the Harley locks and put one on the tour pak mount and one on the passenger backrest. I really don't think two on one mount does any more good than one. If thieves have time to cut/remove one they probably have enough time for two.
