Good morning all, so I have a couple questions here. I was able to look through the threads and find out how to look up my trouble codes through the odometer display, so thanks for that. My two issues are this...when I go to start up my bike (2014 Street Glide) there is a display that pops up in the odometer, however I can never seem to read it before it disappears. I am assuming it is just letting me know that there are trouble codes, but not really sure. In any case, I looked and found three. Two of them I know are common when decatting and going to a stage one, so I am less worried about those. The other one is U0184, which I found is a comm issue. What I can't find, is what could be some causes, and what are the fixes. Has anyone had this before, or can you point me in the right direction to getting this fixed? I am thinking that this code is causing my radio to malfunction at times. More often in the mornings, my radio, or the entire entertainment display for that matter, will not light up nor come on at all. This usually goes away when I start the bike up mid day, though not always the case. Any ideas where to start looking?

Update, the code that pops up in the odometer says "VINER" . Any Ideas what is causing this? As far as the issues with the entertainment center, it is still intermittent, but occurring more often. I checked the fuses in the fuse box, and they are all good. When starting the bike, the entertainment center comes on, then after starting, it shorts out and doesn't come back on. Any thoughts here? I really don't want to take it to the shop, especially if it is something I can fix myself.

If had to to troubleshoot this, I would start with battery and connections, check voltage, put on charger. A blank screen on start up is an indication of a dying battery.
I don't know if you have stock handle bars or not, of you had a bar swap, start looking under the fairing for those handle bar connectors to make sure they are seated, it's possible the TBW connections and the left side bundle may have similar issue.
I would look into the battery charge and and good battery first. Hope this helps.

I second danoday. Those were the exact symptoms of my dying battery. Vinerr and radio remaining off intermittently when starting, along with the codes indicating comms lost. If you can get the battery load tested that should help in verifying the cause.
