Winter storage question

Now that I am the proud owner of two bikes I'm planning on putting my nicer newer 2015 Streetglide up for the Winter. I never really stored my 2012 Superglide as I ride it all Winter when we get days over 40 degrees here in Michigan or special occasions like New Years Eve and New Years day. My question is when you guys change out your fluids before storage do you do a short trip to get everything circulating, start it in the driveway and just let it run, or leave it cold with all the fluids in it when you put it up? Thanks in advance, Ken

After you change your fluids, you should take the bike for a ride to get everything warmed up again and most importantly, circulate the new oil.

If you don't at least start the the bike the new oil from the oil change does nothing except give the pan a new slug of additive.

Ken
