Dealer quoted me 400 may just have to bite the bullet, every vehicle I've ever owned already had the module in it.looks like another way for Harley to get my money. P.S this is the first Harley I've ever owned always had custom choppers
You can also get a portable unit and take it with you when you're not on the bike. They're set up with BT so if you have a BT helmet com, you're good to go. Or if you have an iPhone, there's an app for that.
I have 5 accounts, can't see spending 400 bucks to have a 6th. I pay for the online service and use the phone app with Bluetooth. As long as you have phone service you have satellite.
This also allows access to On Demand stuff like past Howard Stern stuff, or concerts etc...
FYI-We just CANCELLED Sirius for both cars, There are Apps that we use and a BT headset on the bike saves us $30 a month. BTW, IF you do have an Unlimited Data Plan, hold on tight they're soon going to get scarce!
I just got off phone with T-mobile they told me it would not eat data up ,it does not charge that way ,I agree it's total BS how Harley gouges every thing they can ,get it through your phone company & blue tooth or go Spotify or even Apple there are so many cheaper options
I have unlimited data on my Verizon account and use Spotify and xm app. It will indeed burn some data. I recently took a weekend trip of 1k miles and used about 6gb. Although I have it set up at extreme audio quality due to having unlimited data.
