Just bought my first bagger and looking to replace the stock exhaust. I like the way RC Components exhaust look but I have not heard them. Any suggestions??

Personally I like the way the RC sounds. It was my second choice but I ended up going with the d&d boss fat cat 2-1 and I love it. My advice is whatever exhaust you choose find someone that has the setup you want and listen to it, because in the end it is what you like that matters on your scoot, and most of all enjoy the ride

I have the RC exhaust head pipe and mufflers. Not the air breather though (Screaming Eagle Heavy Breather) with the cat converter in it made it sound deep & throaty. But When I had the head pipes
installed it really opened it up. Nice and unique.

That's what I did. V&H dresses duals with CFR cans instant wood when it fires up.

The RCX Slip-ons are a very nice sounding and performing slip-on. I ran them on my personal Street Glide for roughly a year before switching to another slip-on manufacturer...I didn't make the change because there was anything wrong with the RCX, I simply had another vendor of ours ship me a set to try out so I took him up on that opportunity.

What I liked about the RCX Slip-ons was that while certainly much louder than the stock slip-ons, they were not obnoxiously loud when doing long interstate runs. They are mellow at idle but will certainly 'bark' when jamming through the gears. Another cool aspect about them are the interchangeable end caps. I think RC Components offers 14 or 15 different end cap styles so if you get tired of one style, you can purchase another set to change things up a bit. It is also important to note that they do also come in the classic styling of either a slash up or down along with twin slash up or down styles.

We do have an audio recording comparing the stock slip-ons to the RCX slip-ons...this audio was taken off my personal Street Glide. If you wish to listen and compare, you can do so at the following link. Once on the product page of our website, simply scroll down and expand the "Other Details" tab and click on the "Stock Exhaust vs. RCX Slip-ons Audio" link to listen. The recording is 0:43 long so be certain to listen to the entire recording to hear both slip-ons.

Hopefully this helps answer some of your questions but if you have others, certainly feel free to ask.
