What tuner would you use for this exhaust...

Ok, I still have the stock exhaust because I can't decide. At one time I was sold on the V&H Pro-pipe 2 into 1. But I think I want more Harley sound than a little more performance as I don't think I can get too much performance difference here anyway (coming from a turbo'ed vrod, I don't think much will compare).

Thinking of getting:

Basically, a true dual - pipe on each side of the bike (no crossover) exhaust.

But, I'd still like to get the Vance and Hines FP3. Any comments, suggestions?

Thanks.

I run the Pro Pipe and FP3 with HD Stage I AC... I love the setup and sound... even contemplating going with the comp baffle over the standard to get louder.

I have had the FP3 since May of this year and played with it alot... I am more than happy with it. If you are not worried about performance, stick with duals, but NOTHING in the duals catergory compares to the sound of the Pro Pipe that I have heard to date.

Gee, now you are convincing me to go back to the pro pipe :). This is a less expesive, better performance, easier to tune option. Well I have about at least 4 months to decide before riding season is back. Decisions, decisions...

YOU CONVINCED ME!!!

I've been watching vids on youtube etc. and this is the setup I went with. Should be here Tuesday. I got a screaming deal, $821 delivered for both the FP3 and 2-1 Pro-Pipe.

I'm getting ready to almost the same thing.....ordered the 2-1 dual header and I'm going to initially stay with the Street Canons that I already have. I am also installing a SE AC in the stock housing and plan to tune it all with the new FP3 that is coming as well. I'll post up the results and some pics when I get it completed.

I'll be in the whole thing about $800 when the shouting is done...........the cheapest part of the whole deal was the iPhone App.....that was free :D

Where did you find this deal? Is that for the black pipe?

Thanks

No, that was the chrome pipe. Don't mean to step on toes or not trying to be a smart guy, but 585 seems to be the normal price. You can find lower. Two cycle guys had it for 505 plus shipping. The FP3 was 295 at their web site. Then you put in your zip code to get total price. Then I emailed Dennis Kirk and they beat the two cycle guys deal (including shipping) by $2. I like Dennis because it arrived to me in 2 days and they have a nice return policy. So I thought 821 for both pipe and FP3 was a great price seeing most sites have the FP3 for 350. So to me, normal price would have been 935 - I save over $100.
