V&H black Dresser Duals

Bluebowtie, see pics where the muffler heat shield overlaps the header heat shield. They had rubbed and I didn't notice until I took them apart. If your mufflers are the same, it will cover back....I am not sure.image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg
 
I'm not 100% sure as my pipes have not arrived yet but I don't believe CFR uses a heat sheild for the muffler at all. It's just coated black and clamps onto the header pipe.

I wonder how visible that's going to be? I have SE black heat shields now and they did the same thing where the sheilds over lap but it not visible.
 
I am not sure to be honest....it would be back at the saddle bag, possibly underneath ? But it is on the topside, so you would see it unless it is underneath the bag. I don't want to try and influence you to buy them and you not be happy.

No problem ! I was sick when I took them apart, but glad I did.....not out to screw anyone.....only getting rid of parts I no longer use.
