Sweet! Time and money well spent I would say, great looking ride! Who is the solo seat manufacture? Also where did you find the saddlebag latch covers? They do not look like a HD part, or if they are I have not seen them before.

The seat is the classic solo from Corbin, the latches are from performance machine... Yes time well spent and money saved putting on my self..:) she is coming along!... Getting my iPod interface done at the dealer next week, not big on electrical! Lol!...thanks for the kind words cookie...

What grips did you go with? I'm looking at a lot of black grips, like the Arlen Ness Deep Cut, after looking at your pics, I like yours too...

I have some Heat Demon grip warmers coming in the mail also, got to keep warm in Illinois.

The Grips are from Performance Machine "Merc" series new for 2013... I like them! Just enough detail!... Let me know how the heat demons work out for you was thinking of getting them too the cool days here in Alberta.

I will definitely post once I install with new grips. I have seen good reviews about the and seen somewhere that they have not had a properly installed set burn out in the 6 years that they have been selling them.

Just installed Ness deep cut grips and heat demons. Took about 3 hours, most of the time was fishing wires through the bars and into the fairing. Works good, just be careful if installing on a TBW bike, the throttle sensor is a little tricky to remove, rap the heater around, and re-insert into the bars.

Nice! Your grips look fantastic... Did you have to pull out just the end on the TBW and then reattach? How did that go??... Can you install the temp control on the other side of the bars if wanted? Are the instructions detailed... Now I want it realizing my 14" apes my hands will be slightly above the Faring and will catch wind!...

They say you can mount control on either side. You have to make all of the connections on the controller side and with the throttle sensor, I don't know if the extra wires will fit in the bars too easily, plus there is a small resistor on the control side that may interfere with the TBW sensor. The hardest part was fishing the power and ground wires into the fairing through the center handlebar hole at the bar clamp/triple tree. They make a right side kit and left side kit, not sure how the right side kit wires in. I'm just making the assumption based on using the left control on the right side. Here is a website link that may give more detail. http://www.heatdemons.com/Harley-1-Inch-Bars_c_81.html

jbird, thanks for the link I will be researching and sourcing out a distributor here in Canada!... My bars are1/1/4" and would probably need and extended length wiring for the apes!... Please keep me in the loop with how you like them!... Safe riding bro!

They make them for 1-1/4 bars and the leads are quite long for apes. I bought mine from eastern performance parts on eBay. Free shipping, $117 USD.

The fairing mirrors are KuryAkyn blind spot mirrors. Plug and play turn signals on them.
