What did you do to, or on your streetglide today?

100% better. Why harley can't put even a mediocre suspension on a bike baffles me.
Dropped the lowering blocks and put 12.5 shocks on the back. Ride is now good...not the best but for the price very good.
12.5 gives me the same travel as a 13 inch.
Jumped the bum up a bit. Lost a little of the cool look. But rides and handles noticable better. Happy now.
Well might have to do the front....lol

Glad to hear they are an improvement! I am strongly considering shocks (when the wallet permits) but I was concerned the 944s might be too stiff for a skinny feller like myself. Probably won't get any shocks till next year regardless.

Took a nice little 200 mile ride just to get out of the house. Little warm but nothing terrible.

Started an FP3 Autotune session yesterday. Bike has ran flawlessly with just the canned map since I installed, but what the hell...

Installed Harley stage 1. Gotta go see how she runs and sounds now!

Seems to be happy! No decel popping to be heard, and she pulls nicely. Took a ride this morning up to the mountains and back and it feels good. I haven't tried running any auto tunes (yes the street tuner has auto tuning, it's just not as user friendly as the power vision. Has to be sarted/stopped with a laptop and only records data for tuning after you push a button on the tuner) to see if things can be improved or how far.

Pipes are still very quiet while cruising or idling. No surprise there from an epa compliant muffler plus the cat. I'm happy with it though because I didn't want to drown out my music or wake every neighbor in my complex when I leave for work. Also I still need to buy end caps.

That's good to hear! I ran the SE Pro Street Tuner on my 2018 for a bit and it was an inconvenience to hook up the laptop before I rode, just to put it in record mode. I noticed you said that you need end caps. Are you running SE mufflers?

Yea I bought the street cannons and screamin eagle air cleaner assembly. I'm playing the Harley warranty game with this bike, even though I was told by a parts guy that hd ain't too concerned with slip ons as long as the stock header (and cat) are still in place.

I hear you. I had that mindset at first too, but it was short lived and I just dove in and installed a cam, tappet cuffs, air cleaner and PV. This made a huge difference in the way my bike performs. I'll probably stop here with performance mods for this bike. I don't even need a header because the S&S Grand National mufflers make the bike sound like it has a full exhaust.

I'll likely get Harley torque cam next year (maybe 2? I guess the adult thing would be to pay it off. Gotta put my recent raise to good use!). This is my main vehicle so I'm happy to have a warranty so I can break it for free. I'll be honest the power delivery of the 107 makes it feel like it's weak until you realise just how fast you're going. It just pulls so smooth!

Next addition will probably be fans. I do hear less pinging than my 103 but rush hour in 110 isn't kind on an air cooled motor. Sadly wards part works closed so the options are limited.

Well it was 113 today on the ride home. Maybe it was because traffic was actually moving for once, but my legs weren't roasting at stop lights. Did my engine actually get cooler?? So far I think the answer is yes! I'll get a better feeling when everyone is back to work and crowding the roads next week.

Rode my 2018 Stage 2 up to Des Moines, IA and had lunch with my buddy. The ride was great (405 miles round trip).

405 miles sounds like a great day!

I picked up the blunt slash muffler tips for my pipes yesterday, installed them then took a short hot ride to home depot. The tips really changed the sound of the pipes! It's actually got some bark now.

I heard the dual type SE end caps make a huge difference in sound over the standard SE end caps. I would love to take a listen at them. Can you post up a video of them at idle and with a few throttle blips?

Sunday lunch ride with the HOG chapter, perfect day for a ride, 7 hrs, only got up to 84 today, great ride.

@ngot8r here ya go. When it gets cooler I'll find a nice deserted parking lot and try with and without tips. I didn't hear any growl without tips though! It sounded like a stock muffler just slightly louder before. If the double core tips didn't cost $150 I'd be more willing to try them for a sound comparison :(

Sounds nice and throaty!

Nice ride through the Monashee mountains and across Arrow lake.
