I waited two months for these, and it was tough but it was worth it.

The video do quite do Justice but if you have ever heard a Built BBC music car, that's what these sound like, Very Deep tone, not tinny at all, I see myself setting of some car alarms this summer.

They are fairly quite at idle and really dont bark till after 3k or so.

Glad you're happy with them, i was real serious about getting them myself until i heard a bike at the dealership today that had tru duel Rineharts, freaking awesome sound.

After looking up YouTube videos of cfr's, I knew I wanted them on my 2014 SG. I was at the dealership for service asking about them when a guy came up and told me he had a brand new set at his house. He said he had a set on his 2013 SG and there was a chroming issue with them so he sent them back. He ended up buying a different set up and got a tune. When he got his cfr's back, he didn't need them. I went to his house that day and bought them for 525 bucks, brand new, still in the plastic. 30 minutes later, my bike sounded better than anything I had ever heard. Highly recommended!

14 FLHX,
Thanks for the video. I also ordered the CFR's but I'm adding Vanes and Hines True dual headers and Power commander. Wanted to get them for Daytona Bike Week but I ordered too late. Oh well, just can't wait to here the full package...

Looking to get black cfr exhaust how do I black out my head pipe. Or should I change the stock head pipe. My bike is a 2014 sg

If you're looking to go with a set of black CFRs, I recommend going with a black Vance & Hines head pipe. From our experience, the black ceramic coating on the CFR slip-ons is an exact match to the black ceramic used by Vance & Hines.

Regardless which head pipe you choose to go with, it is important to note that the black ceramic used on the CFRs is a 'dull / matte' black so you'll want to make sure that the head pipe is also a 'dull / matte' finish.

Hopefully this helps!!

I purchased the CFR's with Vances and hines true duel headers. Power Comander. WOW these are amazing. Local shop was so impressed with videos and sound bits he became a dealer. And because of that got my pipes in 2 & 1/2 weeks. The sound is just insane.

Describe "insane sound" Deep - Loud - Throaty - etc. ???

Mojo...

Blkbrd hit the nail on the head... ALL OF THAT AND MORE! The CFR's have the deepest/throatiest sound I have yet to hear out of duals.... Super deep and throaty at idle, but not obnoxious at all.... then around 3000 rpms they ROAR with the rolling-thunderous sound.

I'm looking at buying a stock pipe with the cat. Cut out. Or buy Vance's& Hines Header pipe with cfr slip on any ideas which way to go. For my 2014. Also thinking to install new v&h fuel pack.

If you wan't to do it 'right'... Buy the V/H Power Dual X pipe for $580 and then the CFR's... add the AC and tuner..... This should all be done at once as the sled will run DANGEROUSLY lean if you don't get the tuner to mod the map....

I agree.

I want to see how the bike runs before i drop money into another tuner. Let us know what you do and how it works for you.

I have removed the cat and just installed CFR's from Lindsey at Iron Aces. I can describe them. Very loud, throaty, and a deep baritone note.

Thank you Lindsey, I'm sure I will, as soon as I get the proper tuner cable from fuel moto for my powervision, they sent one for a 2014, new one is on the way. I will say that I was surprised the first time I started it, they are loud! LOL
