Radio dies

2018 SGS. My radio / GPS will shut down and reboot randomly. They replaced the radio with a new one and it still does the same thing. Very annoying when you are leading a ride and using your GPS for the route. I am thinking a loose ground somewhere. Has anyone else experienced this before?

On two occasions, my radio has froze up. Off - restart clears it up. Has not happened all summer so ...... ghost in the machine ?

It ended up being a bad clip or pin in the fuse block for the radio. It was pushed back a bit further (1/16") than the other and only partially connected with the fuse on one side causing an intermittent contact on occasion. Lucky find.
