Light and even coats... 15-20 minutes apart. Be patient with it..... too thick from rushing will be noticed. 5-6 coats works well. I did a grille on a 2007 Jetta and lasted over 2 years without a nick when I sold it.

Oh no patients in not my forte. LOL

Glossifier. Any tips/tricks for me?

tape it off good..



light coats, dont rush, 5-6 coats, 10 minutes between coats

Well the headlight trim ring is drying now. 3 coats of black and 2 coats of glossifier. If it works out I'm going to do the crash bar and the tail light housing tomorrow.

I want to do the air cleaner and horn cover also. Do you think it will handle the heat?

Yes, pd is tuff stuff.
Gas is its weakness tho

How did you tape off the turn/brake lenses?

Well the air cleaner cover is being done again because it was peeling up with the tape. This stuff is kinda neat.

I removed the rear light completely.

Took the lens off, removed the cd bulb and taped it off from the inside.

Oh I just put my old lenses on and will cut the grove with a exacto knife.

Yah it did not work to well. You can see the chrome lip through the lens.

The grommet that holds the wires in the fender was a PITA I'm not 100% sure I have it in right now. I will post pics when my phone is not dead.

Thanks. That glossifier is a pita to spray. It comes out of the can very different then the black.
