This oil is European ACEA rated A3/B4 which is: Stable, stay-in-grade oil intended for use in high performance gasoline and direct injection diesel engines.

H-D recommends oil certified for diesel engines* if you don't use Harley oil.

*automotive diesels, not tractors.
