12" Apes

So I pulled the trigger, finally. 12" Yaffes with HD heated grips. Used existing lines but needed extra wiring for the grips.

I can see the bottom half of my mirrors that are in the faring.

Looks great.....12" is more comfortable than 10" but I went with 10" for the reason of keeping hands behind the fairing.

Thx. If I was still up north I'd probably stay behind the faring too.

Not sure but I think KST makes a mirror mount that drops those mirrors down so you can use the whole thing. I have 16 inch bars and can see my mirrors in stock position.

Looks great. I have 12" and had the same problem. TomA Is right. I bought the drop downs from KST and love them. I could only find (2) type of drop downs and KST was much cheaper than the other but good quality. Use lock tight.

My KST doesn't go low enough. I'm planning on hanging mirrors upside down.
Oh well.
