Hi gang- this is my 1st post on the board, been browsing the site for about 3 weeks. This past weekend I had the dealership install the La chopper 12 inch apes on my 2016 street glide. At 1st I was a little hesitant, but I must say these bars are condor table as heck. I'm 5'6 and the bars keep my arms directly Parallel to the bars. See attached pic of the bike with the bars

LA Choppers are great. I put some 12" on my 2016 SGS

For you guys that did the 12" LA Chopper bars... did you do your own install? If so, did you need to extend clutch or brake cables? I have the wire extensions already but dont want to tear down and find I need cables too. Ive heard both need and not need... but none of the sources were first hand. Thank for any input.

It depends on the year of your bike. My 2016 didn't need to extend clutch or brake cable. I believe 2014 & up don't need too.

I also have a '16 SGS, did you install the "Twin Peaks" and did you have to buy cable extensions? Looking to hopefully do an install this week. Thanks,

I bought the namz for ease of installation. No brake or clutch was needed for 12" twin peaks.
