2011 SG rear drop kit on a 2014 SGS.

When I traded in my 11, I removed everything I could, and tried to put them on my 14. I installed the rear drop bracket and went riding for the day. Everything bolted up fine, and it lowered the bike a little. When I went to detail my bike, I found that the right side shock/spring had rubbed against the inside of the saddle bag a little. Looks like I'll be removing the lowering kit this weekend...

Good choice.... there is only 2" of travel on the 14 suspension... I'm looking into a lower seat profile to get me a little lower and slightly more forward... I'm only 5'7" and on my toes most of the time at a stop. I want a planted foot-hold... just in case.
