2014 FLHXS with bad cam bearing.

Changed out cams this weekend and found this. Bad bearing, scored cam. this was the front cam. 25k miles.

Was this cam change because of the bearing problem?

No lucky for me I just decided to upgrade the cams. Never did hear a noise always have changed the oil early. The tensioner shoes barely had a mark on them.
Anyway I went with the Cycle Rama 570-ll cams, upgraded the tensioners and oil bypass while I was in there.
Really happy with the cams, great combo with my D&D T-Duals , Rineharts and the ThunderMax. Really woke it up and has a noticeable difference in TQ.
