2015 won't play music with usb with android phone 2015 stereo won't play music through usb with android phone

I have a 2015 not the special. I played music through the USB with my iPhone with no problems but now I have an android phone and it won't play music through the USB. I can play it through the Bluetooth. I used the same cable I used with the iPhone and even tried several different cables.
