 Good evening. New to the forum. Thank you for your review. Purchased 2016 HD CVO Street, used at 2500 miles. Put 2000 miles on the bike going to Sturgis. Had some options installed at Strurgis. Rode there, rode home. Three months after that trip I trailered my bike to Vegas to ride from Vegas to Lake Havasu. I did not put bike in transport mode. As we were trailering to Vegas, bike kept attaching to my phone via Bluetooth while in the trailer with no ignition on. Checked bike and lights were on. Started bike. Continued on the path to Vegas. Arrived in Vegas, pulled bike off trailer and tried to start it. No go. Replaced battery. Bike started. Within 20mi of the trip, gauges starting bouncing, dash lights flickering, ABS light on. Stopped turned bike off. Waited. Started bike up and continued on the trip to Lake Havasu. Dashlights and gauges continue to flash and bounce. Things continued to get worse. Cruise stopped working. Stopped in Searchlight for fuel, shut bike off, fueled up and the bike did start again. At that point bike was really struggling. Headlight dimming, gauges completely shut down, bike starts running poorly. Coasted into service station in Needles California and bike shut down completely. No lights, no fuel pump, no start. Towed bike to Vegas Harley. Harley worked on bike for 20+ days with no solution. Harley said they had no idea what it was and said "come and get the bike, we cannot fix it". Blamed it on accessories. Trailered bike to SLC Utah and dropped it off at a shop in SLC. Shop had the bike for 10 months and then finally came to the same conclusion, not able to fix it. This shop replaced low voltage switches in handlebars, traced all wires in bars, traced and tried to bypass modules to get bike to power up. Shop replaced BCM, put a stock tuner in it. Shop was able to get bike to power up, but when starter is engaged bike would turnover twice and completely shut down. Shop could get it back up and repeat the same issue. Shop trailered bike to HD to have the HD dealer scan the bike. No codes stored or thrown. Shop thought starter may be drawing too much juice, so shop replaced that too. Shop replaced voltage regulator. At this point I have no idea where to go, what to do. I do know that I have made over 12 payments on it, paid the insurance on it and have not have my ass in the seat for over a year. Insurance company will allow a claim to be filed, but will not settle it with no designated diagnosis or cause. Suggestions?

Wow sounds like you have a bug somewhere or maybe a couple. Did this start after you trailered it or did you have little problems before ?? What kind of parts did you have installed at Sturgis
