2016 Street Glide and 12" Yaffe do I need extensions?

I just purchased these bars and was wondering if i need cable extension. I was told the 2016 models made the clips smaller and the wires longer. Does anyone have a definite answer. Thanks in advance.

Yes you will need the extensions I just did mine and had to do the extensions, had the local hd dealer do it for the warranty aspect of it, it only was an hour and half of labor
