Yesterday while riding on the motorway the entire screen switched off without warning. I had the speedocruise on and navigation running. The bike still had power and I could continue to ride, albeit blind. The screen then restarted but then had the red battery warning light showing and the yellow engine fault light showing. It happened several times and then I stopped at a safe pull off and restarted the bike. The red battery light didnt reappear but the engine fault light still shwed. But the power did not cut off again for a further 2.5hrs of riding. Has anyone experienced this? I am +1hr from the nearest dealership and about to embark on a cross-Europe tour to the HOG Rally in Croatia.

Had this happen to my CVO. Take it in for a software update. Dealer should do it for free! Software update resolved problem.

Good luck on the ride. I’m also 90 miles from my dealership. There is a dealership closer to my but they have a tendency to cheat and lie so I don’t visit them very often!
