2017 Bag Lock Redesign

Is there anyone beside me that thought the 2017 bag locks were big and bulky?
I removed them and went back to my stainless button head, Allen slot bolts purchased at lowes.

I saw those new locking knobs for the 17s. They really are excessively large! I just kept thinking of how much junk would catch on them. What was truly wrong with the spring clip fasteners on the Rushmore bags? Even the turn knobs on the fld bags were smaller, and those had to be pulled then rotated to release.

are you kidding? Rushmore bikes were plagued by problems to dzus fasteners and bags falling, they even issued a call back to change retaining hardware...
