Need some insight on a couple of things, first here is what I am adding to the bike:

Front speakers = Kappa 62.11
Bag Speakers = Hertz sv200.1 mids & Hertz st35 tweeters.

Cerwin Vega B54 running the front Kappa's & st35 Tweeters
Cerwin Vega B52 running the rear sv 200's

So my first question is which wires are for the rear speaker outputs? I have had no luck finding a wiring diagram online anywhere.

And second is it worth attempting to have my HD dealer flash the infotainment, or just go ahead with the BT line levelers while doing the install. I have confess that until I started reading on this forum I had no idea about all the programing B/S when doing an audio upgrade on a late model HD.

Ohh and it is a S/G Special..

Thanks for any help guys...

If you go with a flash you will need to find a shop to do the flash as Harley can't anymore. Yes technology is ever changing and the stuff available is mind boggling. Have you already purchased your speakers and amps ???

I personally would stay with line leveler. You will have more control on output as the BT has adjustments you can make for your style of listening.

Thanks for the feedback Gentlemen,

TomA, yes I have already purchased the amps, speakers & bag lids so I'm in too deep to turn back now.

El Chapo, what type of adjustments to you get on the BT ? I was actually considering adding an EQ to the system if going with the BT set up.

Dr Len, Have you used those output adapters before? They look like pretty good set up ?

Have any of you guys added an EQ on your scooters? I put a pretty elaborate sound system in my boat and didn't expect my HD to be this big of a PIA. My previous bikes were always custom builds so anytime I wanted to change something it was pretty simple, Guess that's not the case when dealing with HD..

Im going with a BT Line leveler 2 speaker setup my SGS. BT sets the line leveler for you. Now your using CV amps. Your going to have to set your gains as you saw in the video I posted. Now don't quote me on this. I have heard that some dealers. If your radio has been flashed. They will not honor a warranty on your radio. Thats why Im playing it safe with a line leveler. Now as you posted. Your a little crazy with audio as I use to be. Check out the DSR1 from Rockford Fosgate
