Why would Harley Davidson put a 3 pin plug on .. for charging.. when they don’t sell that type of charger anywhere.. or do they and were can I buy one.. thanks

That plug is a Euro style plug. Why change parts when the same one will work world wide.

As in the New plug on new street glides.thread.
It's a 5 Amp SAE connector. Harley sells a 5.0 amp charger that uses the extra hole.
Lower Amp chargers only use 2 connections.
