I'm new to the forum. Traded my 2018 Softail Heritage Special and decided I needed something more suited for the long trips with me and the ole lady. Couldn't part with the 114 and I'm not fond of chrome so I went with the Street Glide Special in vivid black. Haven't done much to it other that add highway pegs, passenger floorboards, and an LED illumination kit. Looking for good ideas and the does and don'ts when customizing the scooter. This looks like a good place to get ideas and answers so here I am. I bought my Glide in November and just rolled 6K on it this weekend. I ride nearly everyday. I think there's been 6 or 7 days I haven't rode since I got it.

Welcome to the fun. Have you considered a different seat when the wife is with you ?? You can pick up a take off ultra seat pretty cheap these days. Just a warning if you go back and look what guy's are doing to their bikes here your wallet may be a lot lighter.
