I'm questioning the seating/feet position specifically.
I test rode an ST the other day, liked it fine, some personal preference changes will be made like any other bike one would get.
Then I started reading into it.
I felt like I was hugging the tank and nearly sitting on a pile of books in the seat. It is an aftermarket seat, so that could be part of the issue. Saddleman road sofa best I can see online.
I put board relocaters on my '11 that moved the boards out and I believe fwd. Made a great deal of difference for me. I don't remember what seat I had, but it worked fine.
So question is, with the ST built more for the "sporty rider" does the same seat for a special that moves the rider down and back do it the same way for an ST? Same with the boards.
I'll also be putting a set of 12" bars on soon after I buy.
Either bike is the same cost, so no savings going for one over the other.
