IF you are in the market for lid speakers... DON'T BUY LIDS!!! I have done NUMEROUS sets of these! You don't have to buy lids and hardware... no extra parts laying around... and best of all... you get 6x9's and not 5x7's! This Template Kit paired with our Iron 69s or Street 69's is an absolute GO-TO for lid speakers.
Every customer I get that has an 'end-goal' of a 4 speaker system from a stock 2 speaker system will be talked to about going this route. I can't tell you how much more dynamic sound you get with a 6x9 over a 5x7.
I also install a lot of Iron 57's, don't get me wrong, they are a GREAT speaker for customers WITH 5x7 LIDS.
