A stereo Upgrade, suggestions?

I'm sure there are other dealerships in your area that could handle this flash thing. No dealership is perfect as the first time mine was flashed they made a mistake. Had to get it done a second time and it will blow you away now. Of course I went with the smaller 125 watt amp first but have the 600 now and that made all the difference in the world. I have to travel 230 miles to get mine done so I know about looking for the right place.

The flash that we try to achieve is the flattest EQ curve across the range of volume.... which means... you should have no variance in bass with volume. Also... AVC ( Auto Volume Control ) should be turned OFF )

The dealer says that all they can do is upload what's provided by Harley. They say it's not possible to customize an EQ map. Is there a EQ file name or number that can be downloaded from HD? What I need to do is hand them the correct EQ file and tell them to upload it....or get ahold of the software and do it myself.

The next closest dealer is an hour and a half and they admitted not know much about the radio, so that's probably a waste of time. It's really not worth traveling for this. The audio quality is not the only issue.

The EQ BIN file is only a reference for the system to point to the proper EQF file that's loaded. There is no way to select the 'correct' one. It's all done internally via Digital Tech with the appropriate boxes checked during the procedure of the flash.
