My detector is I do the speed limit. It has been 100% effective so far!

Yes. Obeying the limit is an excellent way to avoid tickets.

Yes I agree, but I don't wont to become complacent at any speed, and I do prefer higher rpm when conditions allow, and if some audible tones and alerts help keep your head on a swivel, that's good too.

Doing the speed limit isn't fun but sometimes you have to. Those signs are just a guide line anyway lol

I had one of these in my RG. Great detector! Water proof.
It saved me from getting a ticket several times. I had the detector mounted near the lowers and the indicator by the speedometer.

Let me just correct one thing: Water RESISTANT, not waterproof. No IP rating given, but to me that was a negative. If it's on a bike, it really should be waterPROOF, IP65 rating or above...

Oops sorry. I did ride in the rain a few times with it and had no problems. I don't believe there is another detector that is water resistant [emoji41][emoji41]

Agree. Many users report many years of trouble free use in rainy conditions, but I had to be accurate and report what the manufacturer said. Let's hope v3, which is due next year, is waterproof.
